Click on the red banners with numbers(REMEMBER TO GO IN ORDER FROM SMALLEST TO LARGEST) to bring up a brief description of the settlement you are attacking, then press TO BATTLE to start the battle. Your troops will be on all three of your darker green spaces, and try to bring down the gate(just bring down one and you'll win) with any of your troops, although battering rams are the most efficient. Remember, your morale can't go down to zero, or else the army will rout and the siege will be lost. The more cities you conquer, the more selection of mercenaries and troops you can have.
