Humanity has operated using the bountiful natural resources and phenomena that exist, long from any sort of resource shortage due to a general understanding of how resources can be acquired and utilized. Advances in energy efficiency have provided cleaner utilization of nuclear fusion technologies, slowly phasing out the majority of fission reactors, which were pretty clean and efficient. The Alcubierre Drive solved the issue of transportation across these astronomical distances. This was conceptualized in 2021 and later made reality due to humanity being able to manufacture larger and larger amounts of antimatter, which is the current fuel for these devices.
