[You may have to open and close the editor once for the output display to show up (Flowlab jank).]
This project contains a basic text input system, a list of commands, and of course all versions of Cri-Text Framework (CTF) that have been developed. You can switch between these versions by removing previous instances of CTF from the level and replacing them with others in the object library. Or just have multiple at once. Whatever, it's just a tech demo anyway.
Update (07/23/2025): CTF has not been developed since mid 2024, and will probably not be updated further unless another game I'm developing ends up needing a similar system. Simply put: I lost confidence in my abilities to actually make high-quality Flowlab libraries and tools, now that I've looked at similar projects developed by the Flowlab "professionals" and realized how pitifully simple what I can make actually is in relativity. + I just don't find programming very fun anyway; it's just a means to an end for me. I'm sure somebody else has developed a far superior system to CTF already anyway. If not, then you have my blessing to go make it.
My one request is: Please integrate my command system into your games if they need a wide variety of text effects triggered at arbitrary times. It's too intuitive to be used only here and in Blue Sky.
All Flowlab visual code included in this project was written by Crigence and is free for anyone to use for any purpose, including and especially in their non-commercial/commercial Flowlab projects.
