Crypt Walker PROTYPE

I moved this game idea to the Godot engine but this is a fun PROTYPE. Feel free to mess around and play around we my PROTYPE ideas.

The game doesn't tell you what the controls are so I'll put them here.

Press tab for you terminal where you can enter commands (there are some commands that the terminal doesn't tell you amount so I'll put them here: "X set to repairrate" where is X can be a number from 0 to 100 you enter. "X set to enginepower" this is the same but instead of regen it affect your boost. By entering "open core" and "close core" you can show off your crypt walkers core and take more damage.)

w,a,s,d for movent but the direction your facing does impact your ability to move around.

double tap S for a backstep and double tap W to do a boost.

Left click to hold your arm out and punch. To do a good punch you should hold left click for a little bit before letting go and make sure to turn your body into the punch to get more power out of the swing because power = damage, so spamming little punches won't help you.

Hold shift and touch an item to pick it up. Press Q and E to switch between your 3 item slots.

When you die you become a head crab as a chance to life type of thing because the game was going to be very punishing towards death. You can revive yourself by standing over the spawn circle for a few seconds, you can heal this way too. You can go though the vents when you are a head crab.

To reload the gun you must be holding ammo when you punch the gun while it is not being held.

Press SPACE BAR to use the item you are holding.

Items such as the healing item can be used by walking into them when your arm is gone, the gun should be able to be fired this way as well I think.

The stick like item is a sword.

There are chests in the middle room that can be broken open, the funky one has a gun inside it.

The character has a auto regen on that balances using the right amount of power depending on how low on life you are but you can just set it to always use the max amount. You can also do the same with the boost, the more power you want the boost to use the more powerful it will be, the boost can also hurt enemies and the smoke it makes blinds enemies while their in it.

There is no end to this game, it is just a play ground, although I think a fun challenge is trying to go from one side of the map to the other and back, saving the princess.

By using the restart or save system command you can save your custom settings for the character and restarting takes you back to your last save so if you mess it up really bad just restart your terminal, but I can't help you if you mess up and then save over the top.

(boosting, regenerating and growing back limbs uses power, power is always slowly recharging)
